A survey of the Historical books of the old Testament covering background and basic content of each book; many key passages and doctrinal themes will be considered; also includes a study of Old Testament history and culture.
OTB 103 Old Testament Survey III (Poetical Books) (4 units)
A survey of the Poetical books of the old Testament covering background and basic content of each book; many key passages and doctrinal themes will be considered; also includes a study of Old Testament history and culture.

In an expository manner the writer of this course presents the Book of Revelation chapter by chapter and sometimes verse by verse. Revelation is an important book of Scripture, and this course makes even the most difficult passages understandable.

BIB 100 Bible History and Geography (4 units)
After a survey of the geography of the Bible lands, the course takes the student through the history of the entire Bible. Step-by-step he sees the journeys of Abraham and of Israel , the rise and f all of empires, and the spread of the gospel in the New Testament. A concluding section of archaeology brings the student as up to date survey of that field.
BIB 110 Bible Prophecy (4 units)
A study of the prophetic books of Daniel and Revelation. The course will trace the concept of the "unveiling" of Jesus Christ as the theme of these great prophetic books.

EM 205 Intercultural Studies (4 units)
An overview of major concepts of cultural anthropology from the viewpoint of Christianity: ethnic diversity, kinship systems, and societal structures, with their language and thought processes. Also, included is a study of cultural relativism and the gospel is the American as well as non-western cultures are examined in the light of scripture.
EM 230 Culture, Psychology, and Intercultural Ministry (4 units)
The course will analysis the principles of psychological anthropology as relevant to intercultural ministry. The course surveys the relationship between culture and personality, social character, and ethos. Attention is given to socialization and human development, perception and cognition, values, deviance, and psycho-cultural change, as related to both pastoral ministry and missions.
